Pregnancy affects your life in general, and your body in particular. In fact, for a lot of women, breast volume decreases after childbirth. Lipofilling with your own fat then becomes a possibility. Not to get bigger breasts than before, but to restore lost volume<\/a>. <\/p>\n

How does lipofilling work?<\/h2>\n

Lipofilling consists of three steps. First, excess fat is removed from the abdomen or hips. After liposuction<\/a>, this autologous fat is processed to increase the survival rate of the fat cells. Finally, the fat is injected into the breast through a thin tube. You\u2019ll see the results immediately; in fact, the area may be slightly more swollen right after the procedure. The final result of the procedure becomes visible after 3 to 6 months. If too few of the injected fat cells survive, another treatment may be necessary. <\/p>\n

Good to know<\/strong>: the new fat cells react just as they did before surgery. As a result, your breasts will also follow your weight fluctuations. If you gain weight, the fat cells gain volume. In the opposite case, they become smaller. <\/p>\n

When to choose lipofilling?<\/h2>\n

Lipofilling is especially suitable for smaller breasts (A or B cup) that do not droop too much. In other words, it is an ideal procedure to regain the volume you lost after childbirth. After treatment, your breasts will be a half to maximum one cup size larger. So for larger breast augmentations<\/a>, silicone prostheses are more appropriate. <\/p>\n

Has your nipple sagged below the lower breast fold? Then lipofilling is not possible. It is also less suitable for larger breasts because you cannot inject a lot of fat. Of course, it also does not work when you have little excess fat. When you smoke, we also see less fat cells survive. <\/p>\n
