Would you like to remove fat from specific areas of your body? For example, to get rid of the last rolls of fat after losing weight? Freezing fat cells (Coolsculpting)<\/a> is a good treatment method to help you with this. Using selective cooling, we can remove fat without causing you pain or anesthesia. No post-treatment is necessary either. This allows you to quickly resume your daily activities. <\/p>\n

How do we proceed?<\/h2>\n

With cryolipolysis treatment, you can have fat frozen. Here fat cells are frozen locally, after which they are naturally removed by your body. It is not an operation, no needles are used, you do not need to be sedated and the recovery time is very short. In fact, the treatment is quite gentle, so the tissue surrounding the fat cells is not damaged. With fat freezing we can remove fat in specific (difficult) areas such as the abdomen, legs and hips. How does it work? We use a special device where the roll of fat is sandwiched between two cooling plates. The temperature will be lowered to -12 degrees Celsius so that the structure of the fat cells is affected. This causes them to break down, to which the body does the rest. The treatment will take about 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of areas to be treated. In the meantime, feel free to read a book or work on your laptop. <\/p>\n

What is the result?<\/h2>\n

In the 2 to 4 months following the treatment, the broken down fat cells will gradually be disposed of by the body. This occurs naturally through the liver and kidneys. After that, the result is clearly visible. After one treatment you can already notice size loss of 1 or 2 centimeters. Also, the skin becomes tighter. Because the fat cells are gradually removed, the skin can quietly adapt so that it does not sag. <\/p>\n

How many treatments are needed?<\/h2>\n

Although results can often be seen after just one treatment (60% of people), sometimes 2 (30%) or more treatments are needed. Of course, this also depends on your wishes and the amount of fat present. Before the first treatment, the plastic surgeon draws up a treatment plan with you to achieve the desired result. After two to four months, you will review the results with the surgeon and determine if you would like to have more fat frozen. By undergoing more treatments in a short period of time, you will see results faster. Good to know: cryolipolysis is not suitable for treating obesity or losing a lot of weight at once. <\/p>\n
