We understand that you like to be well informed. Therefore, we have compiled some important questions about our operation, appointments and treatments for you.

By car, you can park in Duinbergen Avenue itself. You only have to pay during weekends, holidays and school vacations between 11am-7pm. You can also park at the church of Duinbergen with your blue disc. The Duinbergen train station is nearby (a 2-minute walk away), as is the streetcar stop.
Please bring your ID card with you. Please also bring a medication list if necessary. If you are coming on referral from another doctor, please bring the referral letter.
Depending on the issue you come for, you will spend 30' to 1h with the doctor.
If you are coming for the first time, we ask that you come 10' early to complete a questionnaire.
We accept bancontact, payconiq, and all credit cards. Cash payment is also an option. Interventions that take place in the hospital must be made (in advance) by bank transfer.
If you are unable to attend, you may cancel at least 24 hours in advance without charge. If you need to cancel an appointment on Monday, please send an email during the weekend or cancel your appointment online.
Surgeries that can be done under local anesthesia are done in the clinic itself. Common procedures include eyelid surgery, correction of a torn earlobe, removal of a birthmark. Operations under full anesthesia, take place in the AZ ZENO in Knokke. These include breast corrections, nose operations, facelifts.
The earlier you start, the more you can combat aging a bit. So no, you're not too young. Does that emerging forehead wrinkle bother you? Then you can already do something about it. Botox will make this wrinkle more subtle and prevent it from getting deeper. So in that sense, it works preventively.
In the first year you consistently come every 3 months. After that first year, you can keep it up a little longer, as the muscles in your face unlearn the habit of frowning and so the muscle activity is less likely to return.
Basically, the rule is to take it easy for 24 hours after the treatment, especially no sports. Also be careful with (extreme) cold or heat, so do not plan a sauna visit.
Alcohol is allowed; this will not affect the effect of the botox, but possibly possible side effects such as bruising.
Eyelid surgery gives a natural-looking, subtle change. You will look fresher, people will compliment that you look good without being noticed. You will be able to re-mask your eyes without "hassle.
After liposculpture, you should indeed wear supportive clothing for 6 weeks. After a while you will notice that this feels like a second skin, and that you feel really comfortable in it. Are you reluctant to do this? Then the "coolsculpting" technique might be for you. A non-surgical technique where the fat is safely frozen. You don't have to put on supportive clothing afterwards, and it also has many other advantages that the doctor will tell you more about.
Immediately after surgery, the scars are noticeable and pink/red.
Within 6 months, they usually fade to thin, pale lines.
Final visibility varies from person to person (skin type, predisposition to scarring, aftercare).
Scientific research has shown that there is no increased risk of breast cancer after breast augmentation. The glandular tissue is located in front of the implant, so a breast examination is possible just like an ultrasound, an RX mammogram or an MRI scan. However, the radiologist must be aware of the implants so he can tailor his examination accordingly.
You can safely give breast milk to your baby, should you become pregnant after breast augmentation. The prosthesis lies under the mammary gland and functions normally.
Liposuction or liposculpture is a procedure designed to correct localized fat deposits. It is not intended to lose weight. If you are at your usual weight you do not have to do anything, if you are a bit heavier it is a good idea to lose some weight first. We can help you with that.
The doctor strongly recommends quitting smoking 2 weeks before the procedure and 2 weeks after. Nicotine causes the blood vessels to become narrower, thus allowing less blood flow to the wounds. This causes more difficult healing and faster complications.
